Video: Students Record Cover of Linkin Park’s “Iridescent” For Charity

A CHRISTMAS charity single recorded at a top girls’ school is being backed by a Hollywood star and a group of leading sportsmen.

Howell’s School in Denbigh is hoping the cover of US group Linkin Park’s Iridescent can beat both the X Factor winner and the Military Wives Choir to the Christmas number one spot.

The track will help both victims of London’s riots and those involved in the unrest by rebuilding inner-city areas.

Welsh actor Jonathan Pryce, Bolton footballer Kevin Davies, heavyweight boxer David Price, former French rugby league star Jerome Guisset and chief executive of the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Gordon Taylor have all given their backing.

The track was recorded at in state-of-the-art studios at Howell’s by a cast of unsigned artists alongside girls from the school under the band name Project Underdog.
