Fan Review: Linkin Park in Romania By Mirjana

Adie: Mirijana was so nice to send me this short but sweet report of the Linkin Park concert in Bucharest/Romania. Thanks for that! After a 13 hours long trip we finally got there. We had tickets for the Golden Ring. As my friends and I wanted to be in 1st row we had to stand in crowd and wait for the doors to open. At first it was raining, but no one cared. Luckily, the sun came up after few minutes. When they opened the door we all started to run as fast as we could. Few seconds later I was there - in the 1st row, at my 1st LP show. What I felt cannot be described with words. ...

Prelistening in LA: Exclusive Track by Track Review of Linkin Park’s New Album LIVING THINGS

“The Official Review”: LPU LIVING THINGS Pre-Listening Party 6/15/12 I had the great privilege of attending the LPU LIVING THINGS pre-listening event on June 15th, 2012 in LA with a few other friends and LPU members. Luckily I was able to write down a few notes about my initial reactions to each of the songs. Without giving too much away, here’s my brief review track-by-track. LOST IN THE ECHO: I’ll admit, I cheated and listened to the 30 second preview the night before. But this might just be my favorite song of all time. It’s perfect. It’s loud, it has rapping, screaming, and is everything a classic Linkin Park song should be. If this hits the radio, the sky is the limit! My prediction; next single. IN MY REMAINS: I love the intro to this song. The build-up to the bridge is awesome, and the same can be said for the dual harmonies with Mike and Chester’s vocals. Lyrically, it’s one of my favorites from the album. This is one I’d like to see performed on a big stage. ...

Fan Review: Telekom Streetgig with Linkin Park in Berlin by Tenshiie

I am late, but I'm glad to be able to write for Adie's blog, once more, and share some of my experiences here with you guys. Okay, today I'm telling you about the intimate Linkin Park Concert at the “Telekom Streetgigs” last week on June, 5th. We arrived at the venue around 3 PM and various people were already waiting, but to be honest I did expect to see some more. But that was good for us... better places. After a few time we were led inside of the venue's court, right before the doors, where we had to wait another few hours. ...

Fan Review: Rock am Ring By BlackChester

Wait. What am I doing here? Oh right... a blog, review, whatever... but for what? Rock am Ring 2012 I guess. So, where do I start? I think I should start with the camp and the arrival. So, I was supposed to meet up with a friend near the Nürburgring. Well, he was a bit late, but when he finally arrived at the meeting point we got to the campgrounds at Rock am Ring pretty fast to get our wristbands. ...

Fan Review: Berlin, Admiralspalast 06/05/12 (Telekom Street Gigs) By @lpfan1989

I´m happy, that I´m writing a review for AdieK84´s Blog, again :-). We drove to Berlin at 1:30PM MET, arrived at 5:30PM MET. For Info: my best friend went with me to the concert. After we had arrived, we went to the waiting area of the venue and I met a few friends, that I know through the internet and of course Adam from LPUHQ. At 6:30PM MET the entry to the venue opened. My best friend and I were the first persons to enter and we got the passes for the show....

Fan Review: Rock im Park By SuruDenise

Dear diary, uh excuse me, dear reader: I'll tell you a story about the most amazing weekend EVER! After a three hour train ride on friday morning with a good friend of mine, we finally made it to our first festival ever! I've been to some concerts before but festivals are really something totally different. We had Centerstage-Camping-Tickets which means that our campground was close to the main stage where the headline shows take place. We were pretty late and our campground was already full but the (VERY friendly) security helped us to find a nice spot for our tent. And it was perfect, really!...

Fan Review: Pinkpop Festival (Landgraaf, NL) By An Van Oppens

My day at Pinkpop Event: Pinkpop festival Date + location: May 27th 2012 – Landgraaf, NL Highlight of the day: Meet & Greet! For me, other than their amazing set and meeting some awesome people, the Meet & Greet with the band was part of the incredible experience. It wasn't my first M&G though, but it was still very exciting to me! Our Pinkpop day started with us (Gregory, Yves, his girlfriend Veerle, and me) driving to the festival from Belgium in Gregory’s very cool Linkin Parkified car (a white car with the LPUX logo on each side), while playing LP music the entire drive. We arrived in Landgraaf around 11 AM. Throughout the day I really met some awesome LPU members. Meeting some of them for the first time after chatting a lot on the community. Besides them, there were also some great Belgian LPUers I already met at Werchter (Belgium) last year. I’ve also met Adam (LPUHQ) for the first time (at 3 PM), we were supposed to be working as “roadies (together with Pascal and Lode) for the day” but we ended up being “roadies for the hour”, haha! Even though it was pretty much impossible to recruit new members (unless you gave them an additional M&G pass for that day in return), Adam is really awesome, he took the time to chat and hang out with us for couple of hours, even during the show... ...

Fan Review: Linkin Park at Rock in Rio, Lisbon (Portugal) by Fabio

Hey guys, I’d like to apologize as I’m writing not only about LP performance, but the whole experience I had that day. The reason I’m doing that? Cause this was my first LP concert and meet+greet so I felt that wouldn’t be fair to share with you what this day meant to me in many ways . Big thanks to Adie for letting me write this down on her blog =) Saturday, May 26th, the BIG day has finally come, I was pretty sure that day had the necessary trumps for each LP(Uer) fan/Street Soldier to succeed and accomplish what they hopelessly wanted, see Linkin Park having a blast with their loyal fans as ONE . It was time for me to move on, and go straightly to Rock in Rio which was about to be my LP debut concert. I took the train to Bela Vista (RiR Venue), and fortunately met my friend Rita and Monique on the way. They looked just like me but especially Rita, eyes overflowing  joy while her smile from tooth to tooth were proving excitement for keeping in mind that Linkin Park was separated from us for  just few hours. We got there finally, and we got caught up in the middle of like a thousand people in line to enter the venue. Some of em’ wearing their “music” from  heaviest to the softest music style, not just the bands who were about to perform, from Pink Floyd to Motorhead, The Offspring to Linkin Park. I was glad to see most of em’ wearing  LP shirts, for me the alleged headliner for that day. I could hear some fans shouting their lyrics while the line was moving forward to the main entrance, unwittingly I started to picture how would it be the whole thing, when they finally appear *.* .. ...

Fan Review LPU Roadie for the Day Special: Rock in Rio Lisbon/Portugal (26.05.12) by Cátia Marques

Hey there, guys. First of all, I would like to say that I’m really happy about reviewing for Adie’s blog, it’s my first time doing so. I hope you’ll enjoy reading it

So, on Saturday’s morning my best friend and I started to get ready to go to Rock in Rio. I had stayed at her house on the day before, since she lives near the venue. We got there around lunch time (1 pm) and we joined some other fans that were already waiting. There were still 3 hours to go till the doors would open, so we just sit there and some of us started to play Linkin Park songs on our phones. It was really sunny and hot and there were times when I started to feel a bit dizzy (back pain wasn’t helping at all), so I was really happy when the doors finally opened and we got in.

I had planned to meet Adam at 4 pm, near a huge pink tower (the same place where we would meet up for the M + G, later that night). Once I got there, I immediately saw him taking pics of the main stage and the crowd. We talked for a couple of minutes, before we headed to the merch booth. Once we got there, we saw some really cool Linkin Park shirts and I thought about getting one, with Adam quickly approving it. I decided to get a LIVING THINGS shirt with all the tour dates, I thought that one was pretty nice.

Fan Review: Linkin Park at the House of Blues in Los Angeles Part II By Irene

Music For Relief and Power the World present Linkin Park at the House of Blues in West Hollywood

By: Irene Krygowski (LPU: Irene_K, twitter: @irenekrygowski) I was one of the lucky LPU members that were able to score tickets to their sold out concert at House of Blues in West Hollywood, California on Friday May 18, 2012. The concert was announced on April 29, 2012 (which was just 2 days after my birthday) and the tickets were to be sold the next day on Monday April 30. Being announced shortly after my birthday I decided that I had to go to the show no matter what it took! The capacity of the venue is around 1200 people and tickets to the show were in high demand and sold out in minutes! The show was definitely the best show that I have ever been to and let's cross our fingers that they do another LPU exclusive concert sometime in the near future! Before the show, Chester and Mike arrived to unveil the 2012 Linkin Park designed Honda Civic and Motorcycle that will be raffled off throughout the Honda Civic Tour and awarded to one lucky winner at the end when the tour ends in September. Both the car and bike are designed beautifully with a  hybrid of black, orange, and white with Linkin Park’s logo and I was there along with the press to get a prime view as press took photos. ...
