This week’s essential tracks via KERRANG!

PARAMORE – PLAYING GOD
The indisputable kings (and queen) of perfect pop-punk have finally released this fan favourite as a single. You best listen to it too, otherwise Hayley might bend your finger back ‘and break it, break it off!’. Ahem, sorry.

ALEXISONFIRE – DOG’S BLOOD
New songs from Alexisonfire are always cause for celebration, and Dog’s Blood, from their forthcoming EP of the same name, is no exception. It rocks, we tell ya!

PANIC CELL – CRAZY
With the addition of a big riff, Brit metallers Panic Cell have turned Seal’s pop classic Crazy into an absolute beast here. It’s a floor-filler in the making!

FUN. – WALKING THE DOG
They’ll be opening for Paramore in November, so why not get yourself ready to sing along to New York pop-rockers Fun. with this bouncy tune and colourful video? You know you want to!

MONSTER MAGNET – DIG THAT HOLE
Few bands sum up cartoonish, chest-beating rock ‘n’ roll quite as well as Monster Magnet. Prepare yourself to rock out on their UK tour with this slinky new tune!

WE ARE THE IN CROWD – BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY
These K! Introducing stars said that they don’t want to be one-hit wonders, and they won’t be if they can keep writing slices of pop-punk as ridiculously infectious as this!

MUNICIPAL WASTE – WOLVES OF CHERNOBYL
That title sounds like an awesome B-movie. And, if such a thing were made, this killer bit of horror-thrash from Municipal Waste would be the perfect soundtrack.

STONE SOUR – DIGITAL (DID YOU TELL)
Okay, who ordered some high-octane riffs, a killer chorus and a side-order of Corey Taylor? Well, we’re very glad that you did because this new Stone Sour single is 100 per cent awesome!

WEEZER – AUTOPILOT
Weezer are in super pop mode on this cut from their forthcoming Death To False Metal rarities compilation. More so than normal, we mean…

THE CHARIOT – DAVID DE LA HOZ
Bloody hell, this is one serious blast of white-hot hardcore! When this reaches its finale, don’t be surprised if you try to start a pit in your bedroom!
