Making a Difference 101

A while ago, my nephew was christened and when the reverend asked us for donations, I did the same thing as always: scrambling to reach some change I had in my pocket. Then the reverent told us that the money would benefit a program that helps poor children to get their school stuff. Of course I had to think about my awesome nephews and how privileged they are and how poor some other children are, grabbed my purse and reached for a note to put in the donation bag.
Afterwards, when we left the church I thought:”That stupid motherfucker totally got me!”
