Zara from mikeshinodaclan.com just tweeted this concert review from Linkin Park's show in Dallas. It's pretty on point and funny at all the right places, so read! Thanks, Zara!
I’m not saying he’s not a man’s man, but Chester Bennington used to drive a sparkly silver PT Cruiser. I know this because he used to live next door to my good friend, and he did not utilize his parking garage. But perhaps he doesn’t need a fancy SUV; he has the grandeur of a world tour, and an arena full of cheering fans that live for the sensation that is Linkin Park. A show postponed by a bout of illness, the size of the audience at American Airlines Center has not been thwarted. “You ready to have some fun?” Chester asks the crowd. As the band opens with “Faint,” his vocals prove to be a bit ahead of the beat, but unharmed, nonetheless. ...
Paramore should have new music by the summer. Speaking from the Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, frontwoman Hayley Williams told AOL Music. "We are going to go tomorrow to South America to do a tour. And then when we get back, we're hoping to record a batch of songs to release over the summer. All the details aren't worked out yet, but we definitely do want to release ['In the Mourning'] and some other ones before we put out a record."
Some of Paramore's fans feared that the loss of guitarist Josh and drummer Zac Farro would spell the end of the band. Fortunately, it's quite the opposite. The producer of their album 'Brand New Eyes,' Rob Cavallo, is excited to work with them again, possibly for another soundtrack song. Referring to the new band membership, "It's definitely extra motivation," said Cavallo," I'm really proud that they chose me to do this transition and when I heard the first demos, I was absolutely blown away."...

The Grammys were so great this year, weren't they? So many amazing performances! My favourites were the two Rihanna performances with Drake/Eminem, Skylar Grey & Dr. Dre, the Aretha Franklin tribute, Janelle Monae, B.O.B. & Bruno Mars and I've heard Muse were very good, but I haven't watched their performance yet. What are yours?
For now let's forget about the Grammys and focus on the BRIT awards! They'll be awarded tonight and there'll be some awesome performances by Take That, Plan B, Rihanna,Tinie Tempah, Mumford & Sons, Adele, Cee Lo Green and Arcade Fire.
