Fan Review: Ba’s M&G and Concert at Sonisphere, Italy
And finally, June 26, 2011 is here! After many months of waiting, finally my dream came true! Nothing could prepare me for an experience so magical.
After a very hot afternoon, finally comes the moment of the M & G. How
exciting. Here they are ....
I shake everyone's hand and, in my English a little 'low, I try to say
something. I remain enchanted in front of the blue eyes of Phoenix and ask him if he likes Italy.
He says "Yes" and added he would like to return, but on vacation! Damn.
Italian fans are so passionate . Why not come to Italy more often??
With Joe I exchange a "Ciao" and then I am in front of my idol, Mike!
I ask him to devote the autograph to "BA" and he said "Just BA? That's the shortest name I've ever heard"
And I explain him that it stands for Barbara. and so all my plans to tell him many things disappear in the emotion....
In this video http://t.co/rlgbQCM what were they throwing? They had been holindg up papers that ...
Beyonce covers Kings Of Leon and Prince at Glastonbury
Beyonce brought Glastonbury to a bootylicious climax on the Pyramid Stage tonight (June 26).
The R&B superstar made her much-anticipated headline slot just before 10pm, and treated the crowd to a end-of-festival show packed with hits, covers and surprises.
The singer opened with her smash 'Crazy In Love', which despite rumours, did not see Jay-Z turn up. But the song did see giant fireworks fire up on each side of the stage in time to the track's signature trumpets.
Next, the clearly-moved singer greeted an ecstatic Glastonbury with an impassioned speech where she declared, "I always wanted to be a rock star, and tonight we are all rock stars!!" She continued: “I want to make beautiful memories and be free tonight.”...
Review: Linkin Park Rock Sonisphere Italy To The Core
The temperature rises in Imola as Sonisphere continues to rumble across Europe. We catch Funeral for A Friend, Guano Apes, The Cult, Alter Bridge, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park laying waste to Italy…..
Getting into the venue today was challenging to say the least – the small matter of an hour’s drive to the venue, collect media passes, walk 5km in the blistering mid-day sun – Easy.
The first band for us was Funeral for a Friend. They were on our flight the previous day and seemed like really good guys. Onstage they were blistering; provoking circle pits to break out at random throughout the crowd. Finishing their set on a high, the crowd were ecstatic and the atmosphere in the arena was electric.
Next up for us was Guano Apes. Their blend of melody and hard rock went down amazingly well. Front-woman Sandra Nasic was powerful, charismatic and she didn’t miss a note. This band has been around for a while and it shows. They worked the crowd expertly and reaped the rewards. Great work Guano Apes, the surprise band of the day for me....
