First of all thanks to Nikki for being so patient with me. She wrote this review in early October, but I had some problems in my private life in addition to my final exams at University and couldn't post the review until now.

I attended Rockstar Uproar Festival in Englewood, CO last Wednesday. I had an all access pass but didn’t go backstage or go to the signings because I would have to miss one of the other band’s sets and this show had such an amazing lineup that I didn’t want to miss anything. I got there around 4pm when the doors opened and they had a bunch of booths set up, including a slushy stand but I had a pit pass so I pretty much went directly to the pit and when I got there it was already filling up because it is a very small section in front of the stage but I ended up standing in the 3rd row so I was still really close....

Kerrang Awards 2011: Nominees

My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine and Bring Me The Horizon will go head-to-head at the Kerrang! Awards 2011 Fuelled By Relentless Energy Drink in June. My Chemical Romance lead the charge with five nominations. The New Jersey rockers are in the running for Best Album for Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, Best International Band, Best Video presented by Kerrang! TV for Na Na Na, Best Single presented by Kerrang! Radio for Planetary (GO!), and Best Live (presented by Download) at the star-studded ceremony, which is set to take place at a top-secret location in London on Thursday, June 9....

System of a Down Are Back!

System Of A Down have been confirmed as one of the headliners of the Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival, which is set to take place at Donington Park in Leicestershire between June 10 - 12, 2011.

Download will be one of the recently reunited band's first shows since they went on hiatus in 2006. During their time away frontman Serj Tankian embarked on a successful solo career, releasing two albums - 2007's Elect The Dead and this year's Imperfect Harmonies - while guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan formed Scars On Broadway, whose eponymous debut album was released in July 2008.
