I’m pretty excited about this show… The first ever show with my great friend Stormie Mills and just myself! We’re reflecting on some of our travels together and referencing some of the huge walls and special projects we’ve done together… It’s at the Unit44 Gallery in Newcastle and we’ll be painting a massive wall as part of the show. It’s going to be pretty different for us both.Announcement at Unit44's Blog:
When we launched the space we always had the artist in mind. Being able to invite artists to the North East and get to grips with a project they are really passionate about is where we really wanted to be. No point in doing things by halves or starting off slow we introduce Remi/Rough & Stormie Mills. Collaborating in this format they will create something completely original, bespoke, and personal to the space itself. I see no better way of starting our gallery programme. It gives us great pleasure to announce 'Selected Moments'.WWW: Remi/Rough's Blog Stormie Mills' Website Unit44 Gallery For a little taste of what might come, here are some pictures of Remi/Rough & Stormie Mills painting for Primary Flight @ Art Basel Miami:...
First up, we're proud to announce "Baggage & Freedom," a solo exhibit from D. Ross, better known as "Scribe." We've been excited about this one for quite some time, and you can see more of his work at his website by CLICKING HERE. He's well known for his paintings, custom toys and sculptures, and has become one of the most sought after vinyl toy artists in the past few years. Scribe will be in Los Angeles for the reception and doing some pretty cool limited time installations in the gallery, so make sure you come to the opening on Thursday, May 26th from 7-10 PM at G1988: Melrose. As a sneak peek Jensen Karp, the owner of G1988 posted his favourite piece of "Scribe" at and I must say it looks awesome:...
