March 21, 2011 I attended the screening of the movie which Mike Shinoda and Joe Trapanese scored on, "The Raid". I was so nervous! Adam from LPUHQ had said that Mike was going to be there and I instantly got my tickets, 'cause I mean, come on! Mike Shinoda was going to be there! So I arrived with my brother-in-law, who's a big fan as well, and gave the tickets to Adam. I'll admit, he's pretty cute hehe. I wasn't sure if we had to show the LPU laminate to authenticate that we really are LPU members so I asked him if we needed to show it and took out my laminate. He said, " No, that's fine but now I know for sure." Being the anxious, shy person I am, I blushed like crazy at that little interaction with Adam hehehe.
So then my brother sees that they're filming us. I automatically think it's Mark but I saw him again that night and it wasn't him. So then my brother says, "Smile for the camera." and I just laugh and look into the camera.
So after that we go inside where the seats are and completely miss the reserved seats. If I had known I would've sat right behind them but oh well. My brother-in-law and I end up sitting 4 rows down the front next to two girls that were pretty loud but nonetheless awesome for being LPUers haha.

I attended Rockstar Uproar Festival in Englewood, CO last Wednesday. I had an all access pass but didn’t go backstage or go to the signings because I would have to miss one of the other band’s sets and this show had such an amazing lineup that I didn’t want to miss anything. I got there around 4pm when the doors opened and they had a bunch of booths set up, including a slushy stand but I had a pit pass so I pretty much went directly to the pit and when I got there it was already filling up because it is a very small section in front of the stage but I ended up standing in the 3rd row so I was still really close....
As you know I won a trip to LA for a referral contest that I won back in 2009. I arrived In Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Adam from LPU basically took us everywhere we needed to go so of course he picked us up at the airport and greeted me with a hug. He took us out to eat at a mexican restaurant which was awesome then dropped us off at the hotel after he helped us get checked in. Then we pretty much just hung out there for the remainder of the night.
They put us up at the Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood which is one of the most famous hotels in Hollywood. That night they had a pool party with a DJ, so we hung out there, and our room had a mini bar packed with everything you could think of so we had a blast at the hotel.

Review of the 30 Seconds to Mars concert on July 6 in Athens by Evooba
The day had finally come! I was excited to see the band perform live since they are one of my favorite bands but also because they’ve been touring for like 2 years straight now with no breaks and they said they’re going to take a break from touring and writing really soon, so seeing them live was a hell of an opportunity now.
As I was getting ready in the morning, my friend who was coming with me at the concert, called me to tell me that there might be a little problem. At first I didn’t really understand what was happening but short story long, she hurt her leg the previous day and couldn’t walk really well nor stand up for long. I didn’t know how serious the situation was till we got the venue. ...
Review of Linkin Park's concert at Sonisphere Festival in Imola, Italy by akiraFkrates
Everyone must know I’m a hopeless pessimist: that’s what people get to know first when they meet me, along with my colossal craziness. It helps me not to be let down when things go the wrong way, which is basically ¾ of the times. When something important is about to happen, I tend to lower my expectations to an underground level, mostly even hypothesizing apocalyptic outcomes which would ruin what I’m hoping for. That’s the way I am, I guess, my manner to shield myself from the disappointments that could join the endless list of my past poor experiences. Thus, you could understand what was going on in my mind before that particular Sunday, June 26th, 2011, when I got to be part of the Sonisphere festival in the city of Imola. Images like those I saw from the past rock festivals filled my mind with fear and no hope for a good view of the event. “I’m not even gonna see the stage”, I thought, “maybe not even the screens”. My imagination was trying to murder me with creepy images of an ocean of people in which I would have died asphyxiated or stepped over, without the possibility of witnessing the concert I was there for…...
Linkin Park in Moscow Fan Review by Kinomonstr
Having woken up one beautiful morning in June, I didn't know yet what I was going to do the whole day long: listening to a radio station I've never listened to before and never will again. All for the sake of winning the contest that was giving the chance to see the group to which I was headbanging at school, the group whose new album I've waited for, entering the institute. I've listened to infinite hours of not-so-good (shitty) music for the sake of one and a half hours of their musical creations. I wanted to go to the Linkin Park concert SO badly. From a friend's message I have learned that morning, that there was the last of a series of competitions on the aforementioned radio station, which made it possible to receive an invitation to the free concert that was going to be not just somewhere, but at freaking Vasilevsky Spusk!...
And finally, June 26, 2011 is here! After many months of waiting, finally my dream came true! Nothing could prepare me for an experience so magical.
After a very hot afternoon, finally comes the moment of the M & G. How
exciting. Here they are ....
I shake everyone's hand and, in my English a little 'low, I try to say
something. I remain enchanted in front of the blue eyes of Phoenix and ask him if he likes Italy.
He says "Yes" and added he would like to return, but on vacation! Damn.
Italian fans are so passionate . Why not come to Italy more often??
With Joe I exchange a "Ciao" and then I am in front of my idol, Mike!
I ask him to devote the autograph to "BA" and he said "Just BA? That's the shortest name I've ever heard"
And I explain him that it stands for Barbara. and so all my plans to tell him many things disappear in the emotion....
The temperature rises in Imola as Sonisphere continues to rumble across Europe. We catch Funeral for A Friend, Guano Apes, The Cult, Alter Bridge, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park laying waste to Italy…..
Getting into the venue today was challenging to say the least – the small matter of an hour’s drive to the venue, collect media passes, walk 5km in the blistering mid-day sun – Easy.
The first band for us was Funeral for a Friend. They were on our flight the previous day and seemed like really good guys. Onstage they were blistering; provoking circle pits to break out at random throughout the crowd. Finishing their set on a high, the crowd were ecstatic and the atmosphere in the arena was electric.
Next up for us was Guano Apes. Their blend of melody and hard rock went down amazingly well. Front-woman Sandra Nasic was powerful, charismatic and she didn’t miss a note. This band has been around for a while and it shows. They worked the crowd expertly and reaped the rewards. Great work Guano Apes, the surprise band of the day for me....
