Mike Shinoda Scoring Film “The Raid”

For a long time, I have been wanting to score a film. In order for it to work, it would have to have a great story, stunning visuals, and the timing would have to work out in a way that didn’t distract from all the things I want to do with Linkin Park. I’m really excited to have finally found the right project. The movie is called The Raid. Its intense martial arts choreography, amazing cinematography, and great story have been inspiring all kinds of new music. I’m excited for all of you to see—and hear—this film.

Brad Delson Exclusive Phone Interview

In an exclusive phone interview with the Philippine Star, Brad Delson talked about Linkin Park's latest album "A Thousand Suns", their benefit show for Japan, the tour in Asia and what holds the band together after 15 years. The interview is really interesting, so check it out:
MANILA, Philippines - If Linkin Park sounds nothing like the rock/rap-metal band of a decade ago in its latest record A Thousand Suns, the departure from the earlier sounds that earmarked the band to fans worldwide has been intentional. In an exclusive phone interview with Brad Delson, one of Linkin Park’s founding members, he expressed his gratefulness at the support generated for the group’s new direction. “I’m very proud of the album A Thousand Sounds. It was really a labor of love. And I’m appreciative of all the amazing support we received because it definitely was a departure from our earlier records,” the 33-year-old lead guitarist said of the fourth record of the Los Angeles-based, Grammy-winning band....

A Trip to Linkin Park Underground Headquarters and Linkin Park's Secret Show for Japan in Los Angeles by Nichole Portales

As you know I won a trip to LA for a referral contest that I won back in 2009. I arrived In Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Adam from LPU basically took us everywhere we needed to go so of course he picked us up at the airport and greeted me with a hug. He took us out to eat at a mexican restaurant which was awesome then dropped us off at the hotel after he helped us get checked in. Then we pretty much just hung out there for the remainder of the night. They put us up at the Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood which is one of the most famous hotels in Hollywood. That night they had a pool party with a DJ, so we hung out there, and our room had a mini bar packed with everything you could think of so we had a blast at the hotel. ...
